Description
DESCRIPTION: Indian hand painted mural on large silk cloth, at the top of the painting is a scene of three figures riding decorative furniture alongside birds, one on the right has an elephant head in Traditional Indian head dressings heading towards the middle, the one on the left has a god and his loyal servant with the head of a taurus flying towards the middle and between the two is a god sitting with his servant with the upper body of a human with the head of a bird attached to the furniture. In the body of the painting there is six women on either side of a Goddess three on each side along with a tree one on each side each with two peacock upon the leaves. The women are providing material offerings to the Goddess. Below that is a band of cows and calfs facing inward towards the middle and below that is a line of pink flowers with green leaves and stems.
