Alfred Meakin, England, earthenware, "Birds of America" pattern, circa 1950, each of the 73 pieces with different decal decoration based on Audubon's "Birds of America", scalloped rim with wide low-relief floral border, twelve plates, 11 in., [two cracked, four crazed and darkened]; twelve plates, 9 in., [all have some crazing]; eleven plates, 6 in., [three crazed and discolored]; eleven teacups with twelve saucers, 2-1/2 in., [one cup chipped, five cups crazed and discolored, five saucers crazed and discolored]; three cream soup bowls and twelve stands, 2-1/2 in., [all bowls crazed and discolored, most stands with accretions] set overall with scratches in decoration and some fading, firing anomalies.
