GERMAN VOLUME HERBAL REMEDY'S AND NATURAL HISTORY, 1593 (AS IS)

The book is missing initial pages up to and including the title page, it is impossible to know if there were additional pages at front or back of book. Once you get beyond the first 30 and last 50 pages are in relatively good condition, browned with tattering on the edges. The title is unknown, however it is clearly from the 16th century, the date MDXCIII appears on a page before the index. There are approximately 400 pages and almost every other page has a hand-colored wood engraving of plants, fish, insects, birds, quadrupeds, reptiles and directions for some distilling process.
