wood, reddish brown patina, remains of black paint, grooved horns, sweeping backwards, arranged close to the head just like a coiffure, small pierced eyes, narrow nose with curved bridge, slightly dam., missing parts (chin, horn tip), drilled holes on reverse broken out in some places, partially replaced by second row of drillings, rep. (both horn tips), abrasion of paint, base;
"tankagle" mask type, which is related to the "deangle" masks. "Tankagle" means pantomimic dancing mask figure. Such masks used to entertain the audience with varied dances, sometimes with playing little scenes or singing.
