Laid in is a three page autograph letter, signed, from Elizabeth Yeats to an unnamed recipient. In full: "July 27, 1905. Dear Sir, Your letter and cheque has been forwarded to me here. I am of course very sorry that you do not wish for more than two copies of each of my books in the future. I had a long talk with Mr. Emery Walker of the Doves Press yesterday & we went through the MS Lady Gregory's book "Saints & Wonders" and we think it will make a very good book indeed. I return to Ireland on Monday. I will then alter your subscription in the way you desire, ie - 2 copies of each book, which I do with much regret. With thanks. Believe me, yours faithfully, Elizabeth Yeats."
