A PERSIAN SAROUK CARPET. 16'8" x 10'3"

This piece has a light-medium amount of wear to the pile, and light overall grime build up. There is a light amount of some blue thread from the base show through the pile .25" - .5" diameter section. There are some scattered lines about .25" thick of missing pile, possibly from creasing. There is some uneven pigmentation to the red, yellow, and light blue pigment, unclear if this is intentional by the maker. This piece has a faux fringe that has been aded later.  On one of the fringe edges the carpet has been cut down about 2" into the rug and there is yellow adhesive residue to the back on this edge.
