Inscribed "Batagalia di Milazzo vinta de Garibaldi 1860" verso. This piece has a medium - significant amount of wear to the surface with some pigment loss in the sky. There is a medium amount of creasing to the leather material with pigment loss. there are several 1" - 8" network of cracks scattering the surface. Some of these may have some patches to the back, the most significant is on the right edge. There are stretcher bar lines about 2" into the canvas with pigment loss from wear to the creases. There is a noticeable 1' diameter hole in the leather just above the taller palm tree on the left side. There are a medium amount of overall grime throughout and significant yellowing - yellowing might just be from the leather pigmentation.
