Additional cobalt highlight to lower handle terminal. Provenance: From a small Northeastern U.S. collection assembled during the 1950s-1990s, consigned to this auction. Very nice condition. A 5/8" base chip with a tight 1 1/2" Y-shaped line ascending from it. Some mottling to clay. Dryness to section of impressed decoration, caused by contact with another object during the firing.
