Dated 1969. Hallmarked for Birmingham, 1968 (italic capital T). Obv: monogram on shield within JUSTIC TRUTH PHILANTHROPY in circle on blue enamel within wreath, surmounted by a crown with red eneamel. Rev: hallmarked with F C over P within heater shield maker's mark, engraved 'BRO. / WALTER THICK / RAISED / 1-2-69 / NICOLAS MACCHIALELLO / LODGE 7873' in six lines. Fitted with suspension loop with blue ribbon with gold embroidered RAOB monogram and G L E below with top bar inscribed PRIMO on blue enamel and lower bar engraved 'NICOLAS MACCHIAVELLO'. The RAOB is a fraternal association, founded at the Harp Tavern, London in 1822 by Joseph Lisle, William Sinnett and others, with the motto 'Nemo Mortalium Omnibus Horis Sapit' (no man is at all times wise) and continues to the present day. 26.06 grams, 12.5cm overall.
