Pierced carved crest has a seashell in the center over 4 hanging flowers with filigree, scrolling frame-work with pierced carved grapevine pattern, grape clusters in the center section and at the ends; an elegant example of the Hawkins pattern. Sofa has tufted red upholstery with closed padded arms, carved at the knuckle and continuing down through the cabriole legs, a serpentine seat rail with carved highlights. Sofa is reupholstered, has repairs to the back, repair to front right foot and replaced rear casters. 50 in. high x 73 in. wide x 30 in. deep.
