This is a T. Barker Belgium hammer double barrel side by side break over 12 gauge shotgun. These shotguns were very well made and used on Wells Fargo and Overland Stage Co. The piece was most likely traded or acquired by a Northern Sioux Native American Indian and shows a brass tacked design across the stock. The wood shows a wonderful detailed checkered design and the bottom of the grip has an inlaid silver shield or badge. Both sides show a rocker engraved design marked, "T. Barker" and and etched hunting dog. Himangee. This has a Belgium Laminated Steel Choke Bored barrel with heavily rocker etched center rib. RARE Shotgun.
