Two Puck Magazine (American, 18761-1918) political cartoon chromolithographs comprising of one by Frederick Burr Opper (American, 1857-1937) in 1888 with caption that reads "I can not support you, Mr. Harrison, but I shall deem it my duty to vote for Mr. Cleveland. Ta, ta!--Carl Schurz" depicting a poltical satire of Schurz as a fly holding "Letter to the Evening Post Endorsing Cleveland" in hand caught in the "Republican Web" visualized as spider web with a crouching man in "Grandfather's Hat"; and another by Opper titled "A Washington's-Birthday Cartoon for the Bloody-Shift Statesmen: Other War Memories (in background).--Why not take us along, too? The more the merrier!", lower left corner with "J. Ottmann, Lith. PUCK BUILDING, N.Y." depicting Sherman and Reid walking arm in arm with American skeletal soldier with others trailing behind. Each in matching black frames. Washington's Birthday Cartoon framed approximately 18.25" x 21.5", sight size approximately 9.4" x 12.8". Carl Schurz political cartoon framed approximately 22" x 19", sight size approximately 13" x 9.75".
