Item Details

Description

Chinese, late 19th/early 20th century. Chinese blue and white porcelain covered vases or jars, both with foo dog finial covers, the baluster form body decorated with four claw dragon chasing the flaming pearl amidst cloud scroll. The foot with blue underglaze mark Kangxi Nian Zhi -"Kangxi Period Make". Height 12.25", diameter of foot 3.75".

Condition

One vase has a small flake to foo dog finial with an old repair to lid rim and to mouth. Chip to foot. The other vase with old repair at rim of lid and at neck.
