Haring's works are characterized by his enthusiasm for the comic and show influences of his training as a graphic designer. The ‘Graffiti Writing’, which came up at the end of the 1960s in New York and which had a strong impact on Haring thanks to his friend and graffiti artist L.A. II, was particularly crucial.
