Charles Edward Wagstaff (English,1808-1850) after William Fisk (English, 1796–1872), "Trial of Charles 1st in Westminster Hall, 1649", hand colored engraving re-published in 1850 in London, England. Figural hand colored engraving depicting a dynamic and historical interior figural scene showing the trial of King Charles I where he was was eventually beheaded for high treason against England. Unframed sheet size approximately 29.5" x 39.5".
