Description
This gold bond was issued by the Wiscasset Waterville & Farmington Railway in 1901. This followed the reorganization out of the Wiscasset 7 Quebec Railway. Of the 60 coupons, only 3 were clipped. The basic bond measures 9 1/2” by 13”. It includes a linen backing sheet that also holds the 2 sheets of coupons that you would clip and mail in for your $2.50 twice a year. This is a well known Maine 2 foot gauge short line. This is bond #2068.
