Description

An unusual Dietz Steel Clad #39 model lantern with a CITY OF NEW YORK stamping on the lid. It has the typical flat stubby bail fixed to the vent area. What is very unusual is the red cast CITY OF NEW YORK cast red globe. The picture just of the globe is terrible. The globe is very nice. There are some real chips off the base, but it's a Vulcan style so the base doesn't show at all. The globe is a huge plus on this lantern.
