Good condition
The last great series of Picasso graphic works was titled the 347 Series and consists of 347 different etchings, engravings and drypoints, all hand-signed examples out of an edition of 50 completed between March 16 and October 5, 1968. This series was made in collaboration with the master printers Aldo and Piero Crommelynck at their studio at Mougins, in the South of France. Printed by Lacourière, Paris and published by Galerie L. Leiris, Paris.
This is plate 153 out of the series and is titled Orgie chez les Filles, avec Spectateurs which translates to "a Female Orgy with Spectateurs". The347 Series is known for its erotic subject. This piece is signed and numbered five from an edition of fifty, measures 14 ¾ x 10 ¾ inches and has full margins. In overall good condition with no evidence of tears or repairs.
