Original "Specimen Certificate" of the engraved bond issued by the Water Company in 1927—this copy noted, appropriately, as No. 00000. Besides all of the boilerplate copy, the bond features an engraving of an American Indian receiving water from a waterfall, with the legend "Thirst No More"; the 21 attached coupons each feature, for some inexplicable reason, the engraved portrait of a Plains Indian chief in full battle regalia. Great souvenir of this San Francisco water institution.

Condition

Light wear to extremeties, bit of darkening and scattered stains, creases from folding; very good.
