Very good condition with minimal restorations

This extendable desk was crafted around 1800 in Paris. It is made of oak and is veneered with West-Indian mahogany wood. It is usable as writing desk, bookrest and dressing table. Its original leather swing-up writing surface has a mirror underneath. The extendable plates at the sides and the plate in the back have an original gilt ink well and a pencil tray as well as additional storage space. In the center a small lockable drawer with original key and lock can be found.



Condition:

The small table is in very good, minimally restored condition with slight signs of age and wear. The original leather surface shows slight signs of wear due to age. The surface was finished with French polish. The dimensions are 74 x 80 x 45 cm (height x width x depth). (lez)
