This chest was made in England at the beginning of the 19th century. The rectangular mahogany body resting on four high bracket feet. The four drawers are arranged staggered. Their fronts are framed by half round fillets. The swan neck-shaped handles are made of brass.
Condition:
The chest is in need of restoration. The left foot on the backside is broken. Damages can be found in the area of the keyhole on the upper middle drawer. Partial there are restored wood areas. Handles and locks are renewed. A key is available. The dimension are 91 x 107 x 52.5 cm. (bed)
