This so-called mahogany Pembroke table dates to the late 19th century. The plain apron holds one drawer resting on tapered legs. On each side there is a hinged flaps that can be locked by swivel strings on the underside. The narrow side as well as the front features brass fittings and escutcheons. Ebonized inlaid band bordering decorates the elegant body.
Condition:
The table is in good condition. Some minor deep scratches to the table top, the wood of the table top is slightly faded. The height measures 72 cm, the top measures 101 x 43.5 cm and 101 x 86 cm when extended. (tfa)
