France, circa 1890
Decorative furniture in Boulle-technique in the style of Napoleon III with figural bronze fittings and marble top
Dimensions: 105 x 115 x 42 cm

This French furniture originated around the time of 1890. It matches the style of Napoleon III with a curved body and appears in characteristic Boulle technique with brass inlays, black lacquer and partly figurative, brass fittings with golden patina. The fields are decorated with tortoiseshell imitation, partly retouched with red and gold lacquer. The door can be closed with a key. With marble top.

Condition:

This piece of furniture is in restored condition. The tortoiseshell imitation partly slightly damaged and retouched. Slight dryness cracks on the sides. The brass inlays partially dissolved and painted over with gold paint. The marble top minimally discolored. Otherwise overall still good condition. Dimensions: 105 x 115 x 42 cm. (cru)
