Very good condition, fully functional

This late Biedermeier wall clock was crafted around 1865 in Vienna. Its casing of dark walnut and glass has a nice carved top and beautifully worked attached details on the doors. The perfect enamel face shows Roman numerals and fine blue tempered hands. The polished brass pendulum bob sits on a wooden rod, the brass weight is also spotless. The fine Viennese movement with Graham escapement works perfect and is in very good condition. The original winding key comes with the clock. The casing is to be closed on the left hand side.



The pendulum clock is in a good overall condition with only small traces of age and use. The original glass screens are slightly streaky. The movement has only recently been revised and was therefore flawlessly during a short-time test; but long term precision and regularity cannot be guaranteed.
