The central panel of basket weave bullion embroidery with silk embroidered figure of Saint Catherine of Alexandria, surrounded by a border of silk embroidered flowers, interspersed with insects and below opposing birds. Contained in an 18th century carved gilt wood and glazed frame, the panel 16 inches x 14 inches (40.5 x 35 cm).
