MARQUETRY CHEST OF DRAWERS. Nineteeth century Continental piece with concave paneled facade, three drawers and turned feet. Rosewood veneer with inlay over pine secondary. Inlay consists of four figures in the top corners with a central medallion of a woman wearing a floral wreath, faux caryatids on the corners and vining flowers on the drawer fronts with additional figures. Figures have ivory inlaid details. Some damage. 59"w. 29"d. 40"h.
Condition reportCondition: As described. The damage includes a large age split on top of dresser, about 3/4's way across, repair to side trim and to some of the inlay on top. Small loss of inlay in 2 of the 3 drawers. Various age cracks and minor loss in veneer. This cannot be shipped by Garths.
