East Tennessee one drawer table, Sullivan County, TN. Cherry primary, poplar secondary, rectangular two board top over one dovetailed drawer, stiles chamfered at corners, ring turned legs. Appears to retain the original finish. This table is illustrated in "A Sense of Place: Kentucky Shaker Furniture and Regional Influence", Shaker Museum at South Union, 1996, p. 10. Condition - old stains to the top, lock on drawer missing. 26" height x 21 3/4" width x 19 1/8" depth. Circa 1830.
