Pulaski County, Tennessee (Giles County) merchandise ledger for the Houston & Sutton business. Entries are dated 1909. Miscellaneous paper inserts includes a letter from the U.S. Food Administration request for more wool for U.S. Soldiers in 1918, letters and canceled checks from H.C. Houston, and various ads from the turn of the century from cities like Nashville and Louisville. Condition - leather cover frayed at corners, staining to back cover and spine. Dimensions 10 3/8" x 16" x 2 3/8". Circa 1908.
