Large North Carolina alkaline glazed jar, stamped "JFS VIII" James Franklin Seagle (Lincoln County, NC, 1829-1892). Condition - jar has a crack that extends around a large portion of the jar, wire wrapped around base of rim. 16 5/8" height. 19th century.
