Benson Bond Moore (American, 1882-1974) North Carolina landscape, signed lower left corner "Benson B. Moore 1952" and titled on back, "Gray Day Near South Hill N Car -1952-". Moore's works are in the collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum and The Washington County (MD) Museum of Fine Arts. Very good condition, small indention to sky area but no paint loss. Painting sight size 8 5/8" x 11 5/8" canvas, 11 1/2" x 14 1/2" frame.
