Wythe County, Virginia redware ink bottle, found in Wythe Co., VA. Lead or iron oxide glaze . Partially glazed on bottom. Four smoothed sides creating a square appearance. Very good condition, base has old shallow chip possibly as a result of glaze adherence in firing. 4 1/4" height. Mid 19th century.
