Edgefield double handled jug, two incised slashes at base of rim. Found in Hawkins, County, TN. Unusual streaking of glaze near handles, resembles leaves or branch design. Condition - shallow chip to side of one handle, otherwise excellent. 15 1/2" height. Second quarter of the 19th century.
