Tennessee mountain landscape by Mayna Avent (1865-1959), watercolor signed lower left corner. Mayna Treanor Avent's work is in the collection of the Smithsonian Institute's National Portrait Gallery, The White House, and The Tennessee State Museum, Nashville. Her cabin studio was in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. 10 1/8" x 14 1/4" sight for watercolor, 19" x 23" frame. Early 20th century.
