East Tennessee one drawer table with lower shelf

Early and rare Sullivan County, Tennessee one drawer table with lower shelf. Unusual feature of a skirt below the drawer, pegged throughout, lower shelf with beveled edge and dovetailed drawer. Scratch bead at the top of the front skirt is repeated on the lower front shelf support. Walnut primary, yellow pine secondary. This one drawer table was previously exhibited at the East Tennessee Historical Society. Condition - old refinish, current 19th century lock on drawer slightly larger than cutout for lock. 24 3/4" height x 17" width x 15 5/8" depth. Early 19th century.
