Pair of East Tennessee Windsor chairs, pronounced arch back and bowed crest rail with arching, graduated arrow slats, ring turned front legs, bulbous, scribed turning on front stretcher of chairs. Sullivan or Washington County, Tennessee. Descended from the Caldwell estate of Bristol, TN. Condition - old split repair to one seat, otherwise very good condition. 33 7/8" height x 16" width x 16" depth. Circa 1830.
