Folk art carved inkwell and quill

Folk art carved eagle inkwell. The top of the eagle head opens to reveal an ink well. Elaborately carved detail to head and feathers, retains the original carved feather quill. Signed on lower base side, "Krakow 1948". Condition - old repair to shaft of the carved quill, otherwise excellent. Inkwell dimensions 3 1/4" height x 11 1/4" length. Quill length 11 1/4" length. Circa 1948.
