Paint decorated Bride's box, probably European. Consisting of painted angel figure on top and decorated flowers around perimeter. Pine box with cane/rush laced joints. A page from the Antiquarian on Pennsylvania Brides box within the box. Condition - expected wear for age, varnished sides, overall very good condition. Black lighting did not reveal any restoration or inpainting. 17 1/2" x 10 3/4" x 5". Late 18th or early 19th century.
