Cutlery tray, English or American. Consisting of highly figured burl veneers for the tray interior and carved scrolls in a light wood (appears to be birds eye maple) around the perimeter of the tray with punch work in relief, resting on scrolled feet. Condition - old and minor veneer repairs, expected cracking of veneer for age. 19" x 10 1/4" x 7 1/2". Early 19th century.
