A pair of American Gothic carved mahogany hall chairs, crocket finials, reticulated crest, padded back and seat, rounded seat rail, and ring turned tapered legs. Condition - some missing moldings to base of finials, fabric worn and frayed in places. Height of chairs 46" and 45 1/4", 19 1/2" width x 19" depth. Circa 1850-60.
