Painting of a hunting scene, signed Shaeffer

Oil on canvas of a deer hunting scene, signed in lower right corner "J.S. Shaeffer". Depicting two hunters and a dog with one hunter dragging a shot deer. Condition - back of the painting shows two patches, the larger patch reading, "Restored 1969". Dimensions of painting 13 1/2" x 21 1/2". Later period frame 17" x 25". Late 19th or early 20th century.
