The present cauldron is composed of two cast brass elements. The rounded stand passes into a steep and strongly tapered body towards the mouth. The mouth is surrounded by a curved edge. The surface of the vessel is covered with engravings. Cartouches and medallions with inscriptions (‘Allahu akbar’ = God is great!’ is repeated many times) are embedded in a mesh of vines patterns. The interior of the cauldron is tinned, and on the outside there are also small traces of the tinning.
Considering its age, the cauldron is in good condition, showing only minor wear marks. The height of the cauldron is 40 cm, the maximum width is 50 cm. The diameter of the mouth is 34 cm, the cauldron weighs about 20 kilograms.
