This magnificent Persian rug made of wool on cotton captivates with its centric heriz ornament. This medallion is surrounded by a multitude of geometric and floral décor in varying shades of brown, blue and red on a red ground. The knot density is approx. 67,000 per square meter.

The carpet shows slight wear due to age, but is in a good overall condition. The narrow sides are shortened, thus parts of the border is missing. Partially, the colors have faded. The dimensions of the rug are approx. 300 x 243 cm. (nlu)
