A traditional, curved dagger of the Arabian Peninsula, which is available here in a particularly beautiful and elaborated version. The handle and scabbard are covered with sheet silver and adorned with granulation and filigree decor. Along the scabbard are attached large silver rings, which form the connecting elements between scabbard and belt. The entire surface of the belt is embroidered with dense metal and fabric threads, and five amulets are attached to it.
The dagger shows major wear marks. The blade is slightly nicked and oxidized. The silver objects show a patina, and the belt is slightly worn, but in good overall condition. The first amulet bears a signature. The dimensions of the dagger in its scabbard are 27 x 26 cm, the blade has a length of 16 cm. The belt has a length of 93 cm and is 8 cm wide.
