This Rolex Pre-Daytona, Ref. 6238, watch was made in Switzerland circa 1965. It is fitted with a manual movement, caliber 722, with 17 jewels and displays hours, minutes, seconds, and chronograph. The silver sunburst dial has applied silver Baton hour-markers, black Arabic numeral constant seconds subdial, registers, tachymeter, and silver luminous Obelisque and black Baton hands. Watch case, crown, pushers, and screw-down caseback are made of stainless steel. The case number is 1205911. The watch has a stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet 78350 and fold-over clasp.



The watch case diameter is 36mm and 14mm in height. The bracelet length is 16.5cm and the lugs width is 19mm. Hallmarked on the caseback and clasp. Timepiece is in good age-related condition with minor traces of wear, dial shows some age and luminous has been reapplied. During in-house testing the watch was fully functional. Overhaul is recommended at the buyer?s expense. Long-term precision and regularity cannot be guaranteed.
