Autograph Poem Signed, Giuseppe Giacosa, one page, 8vo, Castello di Fenis, 1892, in Italian. Giacosa writes a poem of four verses, commencing (translation) 'I see you again walking along the black road/ Fair woman long ago buried/ And with you comes again the vision/ of the courtly manners of old times/ Have you lived? There are no fables or songs/ that remember your story./ Perhaps only my imagination places you here/ where so many shadows gather….' Boldly signed and dated at the foot.
