Started by Gerry Marsden, the group became an instant sensation throughout the UK, the US, and the world. They were the first rock band to reach number one with their first three singles, "I Like It", "How Do I Do It?", and "You'll Never Walk Alone", a stunning achievement that held for over two decades. They also beat out the Beatles with the first British Rock drama feature film, starring the group, and based on their hit song "Ferry Cross The Mersey", which opened six months before the Beatles "A Hard Day's Night". This is a rare autograph of founder Gerry Marsden. It was obtained in person in 1963 by Teresa Doherty, a British school girl, who, at 15 years of age was known for collecting autographs of some of the top music groups in England.
