English Louis XVI style Bonheur du Jour in burled amboyna and ebony with Sevres style plaques. The three part upper section centered by an open mirrored cupboard flanked by cupboards with inset Sevres style plaques to the doors and all surmounted by pierced brass galleries. The lower section with three drawers mounted with porcelain plaques, the center drawer opening to reveal a tooled leather adjustable writing surface, over two shaped shelves standing on bun feet. All surfaces veneered with burl amboyna and ebony with crossbanding in various woods. 59.5"H x 53.5"W x 22"D, Circa - Second half 19th C.
