Aaron Cain, Carved + Sculpted Electric Guitar This is one of two sculptures in the collection. This piece features an unbelievable amount of detail, a truly unique piece of art. Carved from the ML body, Aaron Cain took this to an extreme degree of sculpting and carving, creating a bio-organical monolith unlike anything seen. The sharp details on the body give an Alien like flavor reminiscent of Swiss surrealist HR Giger, but more organic as opposed to Giger's cold metal-flesh design. The fretboard of the guitar is inlaid with beautiful copper that has a bio-mechanical texture engraved in it. The tuning keys are made from antique pennies and dimes. The "pickups" are made from tattoo machine coils. There are many other unique integrations of tattoo machine parts, coins and metal blacksmithing. Aaron Cain is a blacksmith-tattoo artist from the NAPA Valley region and is one of the top five artists in the tattoo world. Although, not a playable instrument, This is an unbelievable work of sculpted art. Proceeds from the auction of this guitar go to support LITTLE KIDS ROCK, one of the most exciting music education programs available to public schools in America. This guitar is one of over sixty pieces created for Six-String Masterpieces: The Dimebag Darrell Art Tribute.
