He is best known for playing for collaboration with artists (most notably Billy Idol and Vince Neil), he was a vital part of the prime years of success that Idol experienced. He is less known, but critically acclaimed for his solo efforts (Atomic Playboys and Flamenco A Go Go), collaborations (Bozzio Levin Stevens, a.k.a. Black Light Syndrome), as an in-demand session guitarist, and guitar instructor. This guitar captures Steve's glam like style. It features gold rhinestones, gold lettering, it is accessorized with stickers from the underground artist Alan Forbes and they are used just like any musician would decorate his guitar for stage, and there is a poem by Steve written across the body in gold ink.
