Cristina Scabbia,vocalist of Lacuna Coil, Multi-Media, painted Guitar This is one of several conceptual "sculptures" in the collection. Evoking an italian film-noir vibe, the guitar body serves as a table setting that includes a coffee cup with a bloodlike liquid, a blood-stained spoon, lipstick stained water glass, italian money and a receipt. Scabbia penned a poem of anti-violence on one the fins of the guitar. Imagine this in a smoky dive where your vision is only in black and white and the smoke is still coming fresh off the cigarette hanging off the side of the guitar, the femmes fatale long since dissapeared into the shadows. Cristina Adriana Chiara Scabbia[1] (born June 6, 1972 in Milan, Italy) is one of two vocalists in the Italian gothic metal band Lacuna Coil. She also has an advice column, alongside Vinnie Paul in the popular rock magazine Revolver. Scabbia appeared on a remake of 'A Tout Le Monde' on the upcoming Megadeth album United Abominations. The song is a duet with Dave Mustaine and will be the album's first single. Proceeds from the auction of this guitar go to support LITTLE KIDS ROCK, one of the most exciting music education programs available to public schools in America.
